Praise God for the election (on October 6) of a pastor and two elders to serve our congregation in South Asia.  This is a step that moves them towards becoming a fully organized congregation. The men will be installed as the congregation becomes fully organized on Nov 24. Pray for them as they assume the responsibilities of feeding, shepherding, and oversight of the congregation.

The church was borne out of a bible study at the pastor’s residence. About a dozen friends, mostly young singles joined to fellowship and be built up in the Christian faith. By the time they began meeting for Sunday services there were four committed families and a handful of single men. The first service had 13 people in attendance. Within a few months, there was a desire to commune as a congregation and so, in October 2017, they became a mission church with all 13 committed friends becoming members.

It’s been three years now since the congregation began. There now have about 25 members with another half dozen more waiting to be incorporated into our fellowship, close to 35 adherents, touching nearly 50 in regular attendance.  
 

PRAY FOR:

• More leaders, especially ruling elders and deacons to be raised up.
• Those who are in the process of becoming members/being baptized that the Lord would care for them and confirm their calling in our church.
